What to Expect

Roof moss and lichen treatment is not an instant cosmetic clean. The treatment continues working after application, with visible results developing progressively.

Depending on the type and amount of growth present, it can take approximately 6–12 months for the treatment to fully develop.

Heavier or carpeted lichen may require a follow-up treatment.

THE TREATMENT PROCESS

3-Year Moss & Lichen Treatment Warranty

We provide a 3-year warranty against moss and lichen regrowth following completion of the full roof treatment.

Assess

Because the treatment requires time to take full effect, any warranty-related assessment or re-treatment will only be considered once 12 months have elapsed from the original treatment date.

Treat

Where covered by the warranty, affected areas will be assessed and, where required, re-treated at no additional cost.

Allow Time to Work

The warranty does not cover regrowth or issues caused by physical damage, building works, severe weather, third-party cleaning or treatment, roof alterations or other circumstances outside Roof Moss Rescue’s reasonable control.
